Lodging recommendations in Berkeley?

bovil and I are attending a birthday celebration in Berkeley Saturday night.

Sunday, midday, in El Sobrante, is a birthday party for the cutest 3-year-old on the entire planet, our nephew Xander.

So it makes sense for us to get a room in Berkeley rather than drive all the way back to Willow Glen and then turn around to drive north again. On Easter Sunday.

So -- any suggestions?
