Arrived Safe in Boston

After one of the most discomforting landings I've endured in a while (very nasty crosswinds, lots of bumps), touched down at 7:05AM.

$85 cab ride to N. Tewksbury.

Checked in to the Hotel... Holiday Inn Tewksbury-Andover

Breakfast at 9 with the others from my project who arrived yesterday.
I should just have time for a shower and change of clothes.

Well, I guess there are many big rotaries there, but the one I meant is at the edge of the Fells, the Winchester exit. I once had some native Californians out there visiting with me, and I still remember their reaction. First, shock at this thing called a Rotary, second, awe that one had been incorporated into the 'freeway' system.

('freeway' is in quote tongs because it is not a word used by residents of Massachusetts, the word used back there is 'highway' which is used to refer to things like Route 3 (2 lane street) as well as things like Route 128 (8 lane freeway). And route is always pronounced 'root' or else they won't understand what you're talking about.)
