A productive weekend!

Saturday, while Andy was working on food for the lovely dinner party we went to, I hauled a bunch of boxes off to Goodwill (I preferred donating to St Vincent de Paul, but they've closed their thrift stores, and at least Goodwill doesn't do the proselytising that Salvation Army does).

Today, while he was making crab puffs for dinner at didjiman and karisu_sama I hauled a load to our warehouse, and rearranged things in the garage. We are now all set for the arrival of our wine cabinet Tuesday morning!

Yay!

(and dinner was great both nights!)

There is a St Vinnies thrift store in Fremont on Decoto, if you prefer to donate there.

St Vinny's closed their thrift stores? All of them? When did that happen, do you know?

I know they closed the one at the main San Jose location (that moved from 7th to the new facility over by Happy Hollow).

They don't even list the thrift store on their website any more.

It happened last summer when we were cleaning the garage. I tried to take a load to SVdP and found out the hard way.
