Back From Reno, about to leave for Boston

Edited 16:12: Jetblue is now showing that my flight is delayed 90 minutes, but they still want us to check in at the normal time. argh

bovil and I just got back from Reno. I've got a couple hours, and then I'm back to the airport for the 8:15 JetBlue red-eye to Boston's Logan International Airport and then a cab to Tewksbury, where I'm staying at the Holiday Inn.

My vendor meeting is at 9am on Monday.

Yuck, a 9 AM meeting coming off a red-eye. My sympathies. So far (knock wood), all of my business trips involving morning meetings have allowed me to travel early the previous day and get in to my hotel with enough time to recover and be ready the next morning. (Once I was fairly late, but that was because I agreed to be bumped; that allowed me to fly to Bucconeer for free back in 1998.)

The fur coat will no doubt be put to more than aesthetic use in Boston. *brrr*

Well, I'm flying JetBlue because it has the best seat pitch on the market (34"). I should actually be able to get some rest enroute.

I know how to drive in rain and fog (basic rule for driving in tule fog: Get off the road until it clears!) but don't have nearly enough practice driving in snow and ice to brave the Boston roads in January.
