By way of explanation: for the last two days I've been judging the Costume-Con 32 Historical Masquerade. The show portion was tonight.

One of the entries was an 11-person Miss Oz Pageant, featuring WoO characters and events as French pannier gowns. After the show tonight the Tornado kindly bought me a martini.

I asked the ladies to suggest a favorite Tonka for today's poem and they couldn't narrow it down past 3 (I suspect ETOH was involved). So I gamely essayed forth to produce this, um, evanescent piece of verse.
