I was at an SCA wedding a few years ago as a bridesmaid. The bride and groom had asked the officiating minister (pagan, IIRC) to incorporate some lines in their ceremony. So, she's standing there, doing the "Mawwidge" speech completely straight, sans Peter Cook's speech impediment, and blithely unaware of where it came from, apparently because she really had no clue why Sabel and I and most of the groomsmen on the other side of the aisle were unsuccessfully trying to squelch the urge to bust up laughing.
