Project SG-69 : Phase III: Photos
Oct. 25th, 2005 06:55 amUnfortunately, my job at the haunted house is as greeter and doorkeeper (we only let about 8 people go in at a time to keep it from getting too crowded) so I didn't have time to get many stills.

Date: 2005-10-26 02:21 pm (UTC)We move into the conference rooms on Friday to get all the furniture out and set the airwalls.
Saturday, a volunteer crew comes in to build the set, about a 10 hour job. Occasionally (like this year) a few come back Sunday to add finishing touches and repair anything that's fallen over.
Monday morning is our last chance to fix anything before we open up.
While the haunted house is running, there are cookies, punch and coloring activities available on the other side of the exit, so even children too young or too scared to go in have something to do. All the kids get treat bags, too.
Tuesday morning we tear it all back down.
Every year we get asked why we only do it for one afternoon and have to explain that we can't schedule the rooms (or the cast!) for more time than that.
