The parts came back from the anodizing shop. I'm really pleased.

While I was waiting, I started machining the new glass holder:

The flat region with the wall is for basic flat-bottomed glasses.
The conical cut will take "up" (martini) glasses or another stemware; this way the bowl of any glass ends up roughly at the same height, making alignment much simpler.
I'll be machining a slot from the outside to the center hole to slide the stem through, as well as a mounting slot for a very sensitive microswitch and a whole for the mounting screw.
