Hi, Kevin...

I've tried to volunteer a bunch of times, and no one ever gets back to me. Am I blacklisted or something?? I'm a paid up CC26 member, and I've got lots of experience in fan-type cons as well as professional conferences.

Is there a place for me to help? I can do just about anything that isn't super-physical....

Hi Paul --

Nope... we had a glitch in our volunteer forwarding (I think that's what happened to your first query) plus the majority of us who deal with staffing were slightly overwhelmed with Baycon, Westercon, Anime Expo, Costume-College, NASFiC and MythCon all coming in short order.

We are having a meet'n'greet (with swimming and a potluck barbecue) this Saturday in San Jose for current and prospective staffers. It was posted on the CC26 chat list, but I've just forwarded a copy to you directly.
