I was planning to go back to work tomorrow, being pretty much over the hamthrax or whatever this flu was.

Then we went to lunch today. I had a bowl of tasty clam chowder and a "Philly Chicken" sandwich. (Food Purists, ignore the name. It's tasty even if it was nothing like a real Philly Cheesesteak, and I actually have had those. In Philadelphia)

We talked about running a couple of errands, but I felt like a taking nap.
It lasted two-and-a-half hours!

Guess that while I'm probably *not* a health hazard anymore, I'm maybe not up to work yet.

I didn't originate it. It's one of several terms floating around my circle.

Bruce came home from work last Monday, ran a fever from Tuesday until Thursday when the fever broke, had hip pain joint (which we think is the flu affecting his joints) and made it difficult to walk and then proceeded to have diarrhea for close on three days. He has felt unlike working although he has done so from home for the last three days. He's going in tomorrow but he's not sure how he'll do because he's still not really feeling up to par and still climbing into bed and "resting" for an hour or so at times. So, I think he'll work from home in the morning, I'll take him in on my way to work and if he needs me to, I'll pick him up early. Here's hoping you get better soon and that this doesn't knock you on your butt as much as it knocked Bruce on his butt.

Fortunately, I wasn't the first person in my circles to get this, so I had some warning about the second whammy.

The good news is I'm starting to *want* to get back to my projects at work. That is a very good sign.
