Project SG-69 Conundrum: Size and transport

If I make the 10' gate, the pieces come out a couple inches too big to fit in our footlocker

If I make the 100" gate, the aperture is only 7' wide... and Andy is 6'4" in stocking feet...
And I'm not sure if those pieces will fit in the footlocker, either (I have a template printing so I can check tonight).



I think I still want to make the big gate because the ID is 8', enough wider than Andy is tall to not suddenly "shrink" in the eye of the beholder when he steps through it.

What do you all think?

Always go for the gusto, just buy a bigger foot locker. Heck, buy a yard locker.

:-) Turns out the point is moot.

I printed out a full-size cutting template for the smaller gate, and it won't fit in the footlocker either... so onward and upward :-)
