Ready-Steady-Sew at Silicon
Oct. 10th, 2005 11:07 pmOne of my program items at Silicon was a preview screening of the raw DVD footage of Ready, Steady, Sew!, the half-time entertainment I produced (with lots of help, especially from John Maizels) at Interaction, the 63rd World Science Fiction Convention held last August in Glasgow.
About 3 dozen people attended to see the video and hear my commentary. I'm very pleased to report that even in this very rough form, they found it an entertaining hour. Only one person didn't stay for the entire show (he had to catch his ride home), and they laughed, groaned, and cheered in all the right places. I even caught a few lines this time that I missed when we were doing it live at the Clyde Auditorium!

Congratulations!
