Well, since I'll be enroute back from Boston on the 17th when we were *supposed* to do this, Belinda worked her chemical magic for me this Saturday...

Stupid Hair Trick Part One: Future's so Bright I'm Gonna Need Shades
Before! Before!

Crappy Picture Number One (for those who'v e already forgotten):
This is my natural hair color: dark blonde with plenty of grey (why do you think I keep it so short?)
Cuz I'm a Blonde, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah Cuz I'm a Blonde, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah

Stupid hair tricks, part 1: Going from dark blonde/grey to "You'll wonder where the Yellow Went!".
An hour and 10 minutes with 20 volume peroxide under the expert supervision of Belinda, my hairstylist.

(That's Brenda, my group's administrative assistant with me. She's already forgiven me for posting a picture where we both end up with huge double chins.)

So far, all the women I know think I should keep it this color. [livejournal.com profile] bovil thinks that will be too much work. He's probably right.

Stupid Hair Trick Part Two (touch-up, and stencilling in the stripes) is scheduled for Jan 19.

I'll be a dissenting vote on that particular color.

I like the natural color, but I'm weird. :D (Or maybe I'm not 100% woman? :p )

Wow!

It looks good, but I like it both ways :-)

I am currently debating "continue growing" or "cut".

You look lovely. About the upkeep, I recently switched over from bleaching my hair white then dying it purple so it looks bright and radiant to dying it purple over the existing color so the roots don't show up so soon. Upkeep is a bitch.

My ex-roomie had hair that blonde for a while and, yeah, it's a lot of work, even if you keep it short.

Looks good, though! I'm looking forward to seeing the next phase!

Goodness, it does look good, but you'll be getting those blonde jokes now...Make sure you have a snappy retort ready. Can't wait to see the zebbs.
It looks very much like the color I had in the eighties. Mine was short, spiked with steps and a braided tail. I'll have to dig out the pics someday. We had to use straight frosting bleach for it to get to that shade, and the last time I had it done, my skull nearly melted. That was when I decided to try a different look.

I don't know ... I rather like the platinum. It definitely makes a statement. Although as mentioned, the maintenance on it may be a bit much. :)

Belinda and I are brainstorming fox colours ...
