(written Monday night, posted Tuesday morning because the wireless went down at the hotel)

Tonight, we went to dinner at The Daily Catch, a wonderful tiny hole-in-the wall Sicilian-style eatery on Hanover Street in Boston.

We started with a cold marinated calimari salad, and Clams Casino, 5 clamshells stuffed with clam meat, breadcrumbs, garlic and butter and broiled.

For a main course, I had Black Pasta agla oleo, a broad noodle pasta flavored with tinto calimari (Squid ink), and tossed in a saute pan with olive oil, ground calimari and garlic.

Dessert was cannoli picked up across the street at Mike's Pastry.

Yum.

Time to go to bed so I can get up early enough to run off the cannoli in the hotel's fitness room before our group breakfast and return to a morning meeting with the vendor. Tomorrow's meeting I have to be awake, because we'll be defining the software components of the job, what I expect them to deliver and what I will be doing.

When I lived out there, Mike's was the place to go once you'd gotten tired of drinking but before you wanted to go home.
A good deal of my current stomach is due to Mike's Cannoli.

Damn I wish I could eat that kind of food without suffering...LOL.
