And no, Ready, Steady, Sew! did *not* make it into the Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form category. :-(

However, two other Interaction events *did* get nominated, and the other items in the category are all top-notch. At least one of them was on my nomination form.

So I'm sad that what was probably my only chance to be nominated for a Hugo has passed, but pleased that the category has some excellent nominees whose appropriateness I can't disagree about.

In other words, color me "trying very hard not to be sour grapes about missing out"

And I am, too. If I had to pick one of the four Interaction events (I consider the opening & closing ceremonies to be a single two-part production), it would have been Ready, Steady, Sew!. What I think we see here is that while the "BASFA effect" may be present, it takes others to push something into nomination.

I have no inside information, but I would not be surprised to find RSS came close to nomination.

Believe it or not, hearing that from you helps.

I am of course biased toward my own work -- I wrote pieces of "Spaceport Glasgow" besides being part of the production, but I was trying to be objective. I would have been delighted if all four had been nominated.
