Fashion Show update: Photos of finished pectoral and cartouche

As promised, photos of the beadwork behind the cut

Finished pectoral neckpiece and cartouche The TutBucks logo is an inkjet transfer (you can see the slight color shift at the edges) printed on the Canon 9900, with glass art beads hand-stitched in the 10 dots. All the ornamentation on the pectoral is beadwork.

Pectoral spread out to show off all the beads. The blue concentric rings are cobalt blue aurora-borealis-flashed sead beads, strung onto thread and then machine-couched in place. The green lines are slightly larger green glass (flashed with blue aurora-borealis) beads, hand-stitched in place. The zig-zags are 25mm cobalt blue Czech bugle beads. The round art-glass beads and silver "Phoenician" styled beads are hand-stitched in place. (The beaded fringe was purchased pre-strung and sewn on early in the pectoral construction; look for earlier photos)

Oh, and the fringy beads...I have same in a smokey camo-green/grey for some really cool camo fabric for Space Cadet Prom Queen....highly doubt she'll get done by LA.

well, in terms of design skills, remember this was based on an Alison Kondo sketch.

But I will grant that it was a single front view, black and white line drawing. I did have to design all the bits based on that single view.
