Tomorrow's adventures: The Alameda County Leather Contest 2006

As I mentioned in a previous post, I'm staging a fantasy production at the Alameda County Leather Corps annual contest Saturday night.

Tonight I've got minor final adjustments to make on the mechanism, and have to make sure all the bits and pieces for the production are organized and ready to toss in the car.

DRINK lots of water!!! I know leather and water don't mix well, and some of the apparatus might rust, but DRINK!!!!

Fortunately, this is a stage fantasy rather than a scene. It only lasts 5 minutes on stage. And I won't be wearing *much* leather <weg>

Bit of prep time beforehand of course, and we'll be rehearsing on the stage a couple of times in the afternoon, but it's all well within reasonable levels of endurance even in the current weather.
