We have the packages

Arrived at UPS at 8:50 this morning.

They opened at 9:00AM; I was second in line.

Miracle of Miracles, both packages were there.

Now I have a little bit of sewing to do, but I've got all the pieces.

So, what's this about the beret, and would it be a pure pain in the ass for me to find one in time? I've got a plain black one, as you know... :)

The berets we got at SC surplus have a "flash" on them like this:

I think we might have some matching martini-glass charms we can apply to them. (As in 3 of them, if I can find the one that is a charm rather than a pinback)

Plain black will work, too. We have to explain your missing shoulder loops away anyway, so simply call it acceptable variations ;-)

I was looking through my closet yesterday, and it turns out I have grey BDUs...well pants anyway. LOL

But I won't be at Gallie, so...maybe another event.

Sorry I missed the soirée at Carol and Bills...still bummed about that, but I was running a fever, and wouldn't have wanted to get anyone sick.
