Lay off of Costume-Con.org's ONLY volunteer. She can only publish what all the different groups that put on all the different Costume-Cons give her, and the fracking World Wide Web DIDN'T EXIST when we started putting on Costume-Con.
The Costume-Con web archives are in FAR BETTER SHAPE than the WorldCon web photo archives. Oh, wait -- there is no single WWW WorldCon photo archive, because every single WorldCon is put on by a different group.
If you want to see it better, help me finish the database engine to rebuild it.
Rant done.

Date: 2006-03-08 02:24 am (UTC)Actually, no, I have NOT been able to remember stuff of which I was not fully aware of in the first place. I can't recall ever meeting or speaking with her, which would cement such things a lot more in my mind. In fact I had forgotten that the Costume-con.org webmistress / Betsy D. were the same person.
(Trading stories, I do know what it's like to have new baby and a rambunctious 3-year-old and a twice-a-day 1hr roundtrip commute to a 4hr pre-school (had to go home & work while kid was there), and be working on building the original ImageCraft website while battling serious post-partum depression all at once.)
But she's quite free to snag that source of that page and post it up - the costume-con.org links all work too, as I gave them the full URL.
